Following the success of the Brewhouse and initial Taproom developments, the team were invited back to design an adjoining 46m2 space for NorthDown Brewery. This adaptable and multi-functional space doubles up as a larger Taproom and dining area capable of comfortably seating 40 covers.
The design continues the aesthetic of the rest of the brewery with oriented strand board used to create a wrap-around effect across the ceiling, walls and floor. The colour palette is again inspired by the vibrant shades used on the brand’s leading products, with paint and tiles combining to create complimentary blocks of colour that also serve to zone seating areas. Specially commissioned light fixtures were fabricated from mini beer kegs by a local metal worker, while upcycled tables were lovingly restored with additional pops of colour on the bases.
