EXHIBITION DESIGN & MATERIAL CURATION for surface & materials show
UK Construction Show is made up of nine exhibitions and the Surface & Materials Show the jewel in the crown. The Hub for the show acts as both an informative seminar space and a platform for some of the most exciting and innovative materials and surface solutions around.
The 110m2 space was designed to exhibit carefully curated pioneers from the world of interior surface solutions including household names Dulux and Formica as well as those deemed to be the “one’s to watch” based on the previous year’s in depth research. These brands covered all bases in terms of material type, from the likes of Amron Associates, Alusid and Kit Miles studio as well as a handful of specially chosen graduates who show exemplary practice when it comes to surface design.
The exhibition stands share a modular format that makes each individual, yet harmonious with an overall feel akin to that of a contemporary gallery. The colour palette for the space is informed by Dulux Colour Futures 18, with it’s warm neutral shades creating a welcoming mood without dominating the works on display.
