The brief for this project asked for a space that banished all evidence of it’s past (a dodgy and highly generic conversion) in creating a stylish and contemporary apartment from which to soak up the stunning sea views and summer sunsets.

The large open plan spaces have been further accentuated with a unifying light grey all woollen carpet that luxuriously oozes under foot whilst the majority of the walls have been white-washed to create the perfect canvas on which to capture the ever-changing light that pours in through the vast sea-facing bay windows. Colour has been cleverly introduced as accents through soft furnishing as well as the specially designed open plan kitchen units and breakfast bench. A brushed gold splashback runs the length of the kitchen and perfectly contrasts the graffitied reclaimed school desks that make up the worktop. In the master bedroom, where ice cream parlours have playfully inspired colour, a roll top bath right next to the king size bed gives the space an air of opulence.
